In her upcoming film, Gaslight, Chitrangada Singh plays the stepmother of Sara Ali Khan’s character Meesha. Meesha believes her stepmother is concealing something as she seeks to solve the mystery of her father’s disappearance after returning home and suspecting her stepmother of being involved. While this is Chitrangada and Sara’s first collaboration, the actor has previously worked with Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan in Baazaar (2018)
2005 marked Chitrangda’s debut alongside Kay Kay Menon and Shiney Ahuja in Sudhir Mishra’s Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. She is well-known for her roles in the 2011 films Yeh Saali Zindagi, Desi Boys, and I, Me Aur Main (2013). She was last seen opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the 2021 film Bob Biswas
